Where to start learning!

With all the information online and in books, where should you start? This is a question I have asked myself many times and I am still looking for the right area to start. There is so much information to look into and it can be very difficult to know where to start. As someone who doesn’t typically enjoy reading, that can make it even more difficult. I still see to learn as much as I can and I know there has to be a place I can start, but the question is where.

I think right now the best place to start for me is reading about the things I am passionate about. Reading about artist, painters, and creatives. Dive into things like history and how communities work. I want to learn about things that will show me where the best places or people are to point my camera at. Yes there are some things related to photography that I still need to learn and I will learn them in time. I still need to learn to view the world that I live in, so that I know what it takes to make great photography.

These same lessons apply to most things in life. Without a point of view of the world, you cannot bring your unique perspective into what you are creating and truly give a gift to the world. Never stop learning and never stop creating.
